ello, my name is Anthony A. Mabin, and here is a little bit about myself:

     My name is Anthony but I prefer to be called Tony. I was born in March, 5th, 1944 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. My father was Dr. William G. Mabin a foot specialist.

     My mother divorced when I was three and later married Mr. John H. Scott who was a sergeant in the US ARMY.

     I was able to live in several states, as we moved from military base to military base, and lived in France for five years when I was a teenager. Living in France gave me an appreciation for the USA. While many problems exist and need to be resolved, It is still the best country on the planet. As a teenager in Europe I spent a lot of time reading since I couldn’t understand the television (it wasn’t very good either). On the Army base St. Navaire, France, at the library there was a huge barrel as you walked in and it was full of free paperbacks. Soon I was up to reading five or six books a week for enjoyment and to gain knowledge.

     My work career has consisted mainly of high Tech products to sell. While the money has been there from time to time I have had several industries take major hits and took massive reorganization in order to survive. I find I have an affinity for the Internet and I like to surf for information. It is highly technology driven at this time. While my previous industries were dying, one of my adult sons was getting into high tech in an expanding industry. To the point he has been composite supervisor on major films. Recently, his credits include “True Lies", “Apollo 13", “Titanic,” Fifth Element” and “Devils Advocate.”
