If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This was the first book I read. It's a hefty read. In my case, I just sat down and read it cover to cover.
Then I went back and re-read Chapter 2, "The Clear."
This was, for me, the vision. It made sense. At the time, my thought was: even if I could only achieve some of this, it would be worthwhile.
Guess what? I did it all.
And it all started with reading Dianetics. It was a vision thing.
