ello, my name is Jeannie Deva, and here is a little bit about myself:
I was born into a family of professional artists who were (and still are) committed to humanitarian ideals. I have been professionally involved in dance, theatre and music from a very early age.
Earning a degree in composition and arranging, I graduated Berklee College of Music in 1975 and began teaching voice in 1976. Twenty one years ago, I opened my own school of voice in Boston and have certified several teachers in my method of contemporary voice training.
I have given concerts and seminars in the US, South America, the Caribbean and Europe, and have a vocal home-study course which sells around the world. Since 1989 I have been writing voice columns for various music magazines.
I love people and enjoy traveling, working long hours, taking walks by the ocean, reading, and have dedicated myself to continued self improvement and helping
others.
