ello, my name is Laurie Bingham, and here is a little bit about myself:
I'm male and 66 years old. I am retired and have an intense interest in teaching English.
I have a lifelong interest in aviation, art, literature and classical music.
Currently I am exploring an extinct Chinese sub-culture destroyed by Mongols in 1285 - the Xixia. This is a specialist academic interest. The Xixia were a short lived culture of 200 years. They were aesthetically pleasing and uniquely different from the rest of China.
I read Dianetics: The Evolution of a Science in 1952 and I was tremendously impressed with the technology. In June of 1953 I attended a lecture in Christchurch, New Zealand. I read Scientology: 8-8008 and History of Man around this time. I had been well into Buddhism and past lives.
I'm learning Chinese and I can write in Chinese on my
computer.
