I have been a Scientologist for 17 years. And it has been a true adventure.

     If you were to ask me what I like most about being a Scientologist, I would have to say that it is my continual growing understanding of myself and others. As a result of this, I have become more effective in every aspect of my life.

     I have been happily married to an incredible man for the last 2 years. I can honestly attribute this to what I’ve learned as a Scientologist. It started with my picking the right man for me. I wouldn’t have been able to decide this was the right man for me, if I didn’t already know what I wanted out of life and if I wasn’t able to see that he fulfilled every desire I had for a life-mate.

     But, as anyone who is married knows, in the due course of a marriage there are bumps and barbs every once in a while. I’ve taken courses in the Church of Scientology that have helped me to improve my communication skills, increase my understanding of what causes an upset or problem and to resolve these situations with relative ease. My relationship with my husband grows stronger every day. And the best thing about it is that we are both independent people, with our own ideas and goals. We haven’t had to corrupt our individuality to make our marriage work. Because we are Scientologists and we use what we’ve learned, we are able to be ourselves while still being a team, accomplishing those goals we have in common.

     I used to be a very angry person, although I hid it very well. No one knew how angry I was all the time. I was angry with everyone and everything, including myself. It was very painful. Over my years of Scientology study, I found the anger dissipated because I developed a true understanding of where the anger was coming from. Now, I face difficult situations with relative ease. I don’t suppress the anger. It’s just not there. The best part is that I have a tremendous liking for myself and others.

     And to top it all off, I have found L. Ron Hubbard’s technology on how to study invaluable. I spent 6 years in college, was an A student and still felt lacking in my ability to learn. As the years went by, I felt my ability to learn and use new knowledge was slipping even further from my grasp. But L. Ron Hubbard’s study technology has turned that around completely. I used to hesitate to start or learn new things. But, now it is a snap. This has opened doors that I never would have thought of opening. There is nothing I can’t learn or do, if I desire it.

     Needless to say, my Scientology studies have given me the tools I need to be a success in my relationships, career and in all aspects of my life.
