ello, my name is Michael Hendrickson, and here is a little bit about myself:

     All my life I have been an artist. One of my earliest childhood memories is of getting a painting lesson from my mother in the kitchen of our home.

     Later in my childhood, I fell in love with music, learned to play classical oboe and, later, in high school, I took up guitar, which I still play.

     Also when I was young, I found that I had a strong interest in religion. I wanted to know who I am and where I'm going. I started studying different religions, starting with Christianity, and proceeded from there to Hinduism (yoga) and then Zen Buddhism, and by the time I was 20 years old I had also studied Tibetan Buddhism and Theosophy. I started studying Scientology when I was 20, and haven't looked back since, as it's given me more than everything I had hoped for...

      As I've proceeded through life, I've branched out artistically. I can write both prose and poetry, and I make my living as a graphic artist.

      When I was in my late 20s I taught myself photography from books, using Scientology study techniques. Since then, I have also taught myself how to build and run personal computers.

      I have found the tools of Scientology to be indispensable in everyday life, as well as in my artistic activities. I think that I wouldn't be half the artist that I am without the tools that Scientology has given me. I feel much more certain about my craftsmanship because of being able to study using Scientology study techniques; I can communicate much better because of Scientology data about communication - and this, especially, includes being able to listen to others! Indispensable for an artist!

     My relationship with my daughter is wonderful; her mother and I have both used Scientology data about children and the family to help raise her, and have been rewarded with a daughter who loves both her parents, is a good student, and knows what she wants to do with her life. I look forward to each day and to the future.
