I have discovered who I really am and my true purpose for this life. I no longer have any doubt about my personal identity or where I am going. This is a source of great comfort for me. I like myself and know that what I want from life is worthwhile.
The most important difference between Scientology and other belief systems that I've studied is that it works; it does exactly what it says it will do. This is exactly what I'd been looking for in all my previous studies - something that I can actually do to improve conditions in my life and in other people's lives. I have found that the pastoral counseling I've received and the studies about the spirit and the mind that I've undertaken in Scientology have helped - and continue to help - me in all parts of my life; everything from friendships to life at work to artistic activities.
My accomplishments in every part of my life are at a much higher level because of what I've gotten out of Scientology. Especially satisfying is what I've been able to accomplish so far artistically; I know that my art is much more uplifting and has the potential to reach far more people than it could have before I started my first Scientology course.
Perhaps the greatest thing I've gotten out of Scientology is that I am much more in communication with others. I can understand what people tell me about themselves, what they're concerned about, and why. And I can be a worthwhile friend to other people. I can help them.
No one can live in a vacuum, and I certainly don't. I have plenty of real friends.
