ello, my name is Nick Knickerbocker, and here is a little bit about myself:

     My real name is Glen Morris Knickerbocker III (the third). My grandpa and dad are also Glen Morris, but they go by “Knick” because they were both in the military and their fellows got sick of saying our four-syllable last name every time so they just cut it down to one syllable.

     I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, where I graduated from A.J. Dimond High School in 1987. I went to the University of Washington (go Huskies!) for a couple years but dropped out when I realized I didn’t know what the heck I was studying for.

     I have a fabulous wife Heidi, and two kids by the names of Jason (5) and Kaylee (3). Heidi is from South Africa. We met and got married in Los Angeles in 1991, before moving to South Africa where we had Jason. Kaylee was born in Seattle 20 months later.

     Heidi now works for a boarding school in Oregon called The Delphian School, where they use the study methods developed by L. Ron Hubbard. My kids both attend pre-school there. I am finally in the career of my choice, contracted to the State of Oregon doing software development. I like communicating with people so contact me anytime!
