ello, my name is Russell Shaw, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I first found out about Scientology from my Uncle, who had suggested to me several times that I take the Communication Course. He even took me to several lectures. The speakers were great and it all sounded good - in fact it sounded ~too good to be true~!

     It was almost twelve YEARS later that I was really looking into the spiritual side of life, trying to figure out what life was all about (totally ignoring Scientology, as I had "looked into it" earlier!). I came across a magazine called ADVANCE published by Scientology's Advanced Organization. There, on the glossary page were a few words defined. Reading just the definition of ONE WORD I learned more than I had in my previous year of rather intense study!!

     That night I DID go and start the communication course! I have been active ever since. My life is not without problems due to Scientology. Just that now I can work on "fun problems" instead of the stupid ones I used to "work on."
