About Myself

Photo

H ello, my name is Tracy Sherwood, and here is a little bit about myself:

When I see a child free to confess his misdeed because he is given liberty to, and respect for doing so, I am glad. When I see a child asked to give contribution in punishment’s stead, and happily does so, I am glad. When I witness a child being listened to without interruption... and then given genuine acknowledgment for his communication and ideas, I am glad. When I help a parent give these gifts to their child, I am glad. I am glad there is... Scientology.

Thank you for visiting my personal home page. The above photo is after my wedding in Nov. 98. I wish you could see the surroundings where I live; it’s so beautiful here. I live in Leona Valley, California, about sixty miles northeast of Los Angeles. I have dreamed of this place all my life, though I had never seen it. It’s horse country, with soft rolling hills, one little market, a feed store and just a few other quaint and friendly locally owned businesses. It’s absolutely peaceful. Neighbors of all faiths and nationalities live in harmony. Local gossip is always good news, never bad.

I live here with my wonderful husband, Kent, who just recently began studying Scientology, and my fourteen-year-old son Michael, who received his high school diploma when he was thirteen. We have four horses, two dogs and 1 1/2 acres to spread our wings.

Michael is now a professional tutor at my Little Red SchoolHouse Tutoring and Home Schooling Center here in Leona Valley. I wish I could show you a picture, it’s just as you would imagine. Some of the kids come for extensive home schooling tutoring instead of going to public school. Some come for a stay at the ranch, for extensive reading and riding lessons and a little ranch work does wonders for the morale. Others come after school. They are learning to read, or to better understand what they read. The study and child technology I have learned from Hubbard’s works has made my program so successful that I can give a custom guarantee of success at the little red schoolhouse.

I’ll tell you more about the tutoring center at the end - for those who would prefer to skip that part.

I enjoy lots of things. Writing articles, poetry, (now a book in progress), a little piano, watercolor and of course, creating a marriage built on honesty and mutual respect. This takes some communication skills! I thank Mr. Hubbard for that too.

My husband Kent is quite the artist himself. He does excellent sketching, designs and makes rustic wood furniture (you should see his log bed frame); he repairs and refurbishes saddles and hand-makes bridles (the head and mouth peace for horses). He does wonderful work. Especially as a husband I have to say. He’s very good at putting Mr. Hubbard’s tools to work in his life as he learns them. He grows endlessly in all directions at once. I admire him.[End]
